New LUCEM project startet : Carolustherme Aachen

Im Rahmen einer Renovierung der Carolustherme wird eine neuartige LUCEM STARLIGHT Variante mit gesteuerter Lichttechnik zum Einsatz kommen.

Die Lichttechnik erlaubt eine Synchronisierung mit dem Strömungskanal, so dass die gefühlte Schwimmgeschwindigkeit reduziert oder auch erhöht werden kann.

Great teamwork at Architect@Work in Düsseldorf: Holcim, VETRA and LUCEM worked hand-in-hand to explain the latest developments of Light Transmitting Concrete to the interested visitors.

Aachen, September 16th 2019 – LUCEM presents a summary of the latest developments in digital display technology. Durable concrete with millions of optical fibers can be used for guiding or infotainment systems in flooring or wall cladding. Both, in interior and exterior applications.

LUCEM and Holcim Germany are cooperating now

Hamburg / Aachen, August 20th 2019 – In June 2019, LUCEM (producer of light-transmitting concrete elements) and the building materials producer Holcim Deutschland and its subsidiary VETRA Betonfertigteile GmbH signed a cooperation agreement. The aim of the cooperation is to use the strengths of the partners for optimized production and improved sales channels as well as to jointly develop further new ideas for translucent concrete products. Design and lighting technology are at LUCEM, Holcim is primarily concerned with the concrete, including  raw materials, large-scale production in its own precast concrete plants of the subsidiary VETRA Betonfertigteilwerke GmbH as well as new marketing and distribution channels.
