The War Heroes Memorial is visited once a year by the Royal Family for official commemorative ceremonies. The monolith, made of 30 mm anthracite LUCEM Luccon concrete, was constructed from multiple LUCEM concrete panels joined with precision miter cuts. The inscriptions were created using sandblasting techniques.
